SmartBudget ("the Application") is an intentional cash-allocation and personal budgeting tool built by Control07. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding user information, data storage, and third-party advertising in compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies.

2. Zero Collection of Personal & Financial Data

SmartBudget does not operate remote servers or require user registration:

• No Account Required: You never need to provide your name, email, phone number, or password.
• No Bank Account Linking: The app does not integrate with banking institutions or open-banking APIs. All income sources, expense items, and savings goals are entered manually by you.
• 100% Local Storage: All budget records and calculations reside exclusively on your physical hardware in a private, sandboxed SQLite database.

3. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

To support ongoing development while keeping the application free, SmartBudget integrates the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob). Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain non-personally identifiable technical information in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy:

• Device Identifiers: Advertising ID (GAID) and hardware identifiers for fraud detection, ad frequency capping, and relevant ad serving.
• Usage & Diagnostics: Ad impression events, ad interactions, and crash analytics to maintain SDK stability.
• Approximate Location: Coarse geolocation derived from your device IP address for regional ad delivery.

4. Device Permissions Disclosures

SmartBudget requests only minimal, necessary system permissions:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Delivers scheduled on-device check-in reminders that you configure. Reminders are generated locally by your phone.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Ensures your scheduled check-in reminders trigger precisely at the scheduled time.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Automatically reschedules your local reminder alarms when your phone reboots.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your budget data is stored 100% locally on your device, you maintain complete custody over it at all times. If you wish to delete all your financial data, you can clear application data through your Android System Settings or uninstall the application. Once uninstalled, all local database entries are permanently destroyed.

6. Children's Privacy

SmartBudget is intended for general audiences aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children.
