Welcome to Toolix ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how Toolix handles information when you use our Android application.

1. Offline-First Processing & Zero File Uploads

Toolix is strictly an offline-first utility application. All core features—including PDF compression, merging, splitting, page extraction, rotation, image resizing, format conversion, cropping, text transformations, QR code generation, and financial/loan calculations—are executed 100% locally on your device.

• Your documents, images, and texts are never uploaded to any remote server or third-party cloud service.
• All temporary files generated during operations are stored strictly within the app's sandboxed local cache and deleted when cleared.

2. Device Permissions Used

Toolix requests only the minimal system permissions required to perform user-initiated actions:

• Camera: Used exclusively for real-time QR code and barcode scanning in the scanner tool. Camera frames are processed on-device in real-time and are never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
• Photos & Media / Storage: Used strictly through Android's system file picker (Storage Access Framework) to allow you to select files for conversion and save the final results back to your chosen folder.

3. Advertising & Analytics (Google AdMob)

Toolix displays advertisements provided by Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to support free access to all utility tools.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process certain device information to serve ads and prevent fraud, including:

• Advertising ID (GAID) or device identifiers.
• General device characteristics (device model, operating system version, screen resolution).
• Ad interaction data and diagnostics/crash logs.

4. Children's Privacy

Toolix is a general utility productivity app and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Security of Your Information

Because all file manipulation and calculations occur entirely on your local device, your sensitive documents never leave your possession.
